Crazy for God Vs. Practical for People

With You, God, All Things Are Possible!

Saul thought he did a good job.  I can see him just completely surprised when he heard the prophet Samuel say, "No! No! No!  You don't get it! You got it all wrong, man!" (Read: 1 Samuel 15)

We need to get this straight!  God is King!  God is the only authority!  God is also love!  God is the only currency that matters!  What God calls "money" should be money to us!  What God calls worthwhile, valuable or well worth our time should be the same exact reflection in our own mind and value system.   But here is what is really reallly important.  We need to understand that ANYTHING.. ANYTHING you do, big or small, for God by faith in obedience will be blessed!

Sometimes, the more radical, the more phenomenal is what God will do, when you obey!   But when we think and lean on the conventional and practical acts of behavior only, we need to check and make sure we are not thinking this way because we don't want to stand out of the crowd or look "different" than other people, or we just want to fit in, we will oddly find ourselves not only lacking in the practical matters of our lives, but we will also find ourselves lacking with a sense of unfulfillment in our lives..Maybe that's why we as a people are always filled with a sense that we need adventure to go out into the unknown...but maybe it's more about this:  We need to be bold for God and live with our faith to really feel alive!

Life often feels so mundane for so many probably because we so often live life using our cultural ruler.  I know people who hesitate to live differently because that can't even make a single action before they measure every behavior by what people think or how their friends will react....We often behave that way because we so desperately value their approval.  (see where I'm going with this yet?)   If this is the way you feel, that is a clear indication that your value system might be off center.   It's off center when you care about what people think when people most of the time don't even care or even think about you most of the time.

But God is saying this:  Do what you know you should be doing for God today!  Do what I tell you to do just because He told you.  Don't know when you "hear" God's voice?   Practice makes perfect.   You learn to recognize a person's voice by spending more time with them.   I can recognize certain singers on the radio because I like their voice and I listen to them often.    Live that way everyday!  Pracitce spending time with Him.  Listen to His voice.  Get crazy for God just for who He is.

But you can change your value system right now.  Here's how you do it:  Believe that God and His grace is bigger and better in your life than EVERY OTHER THING, EVER (PERIOD)!  Nothing is greater than God!  Therefore, if God is gently urging you to help someone, don't talk yourself practically out of it, like you could ever figure out the outcome!  Just help that person.  What you do for God will ALWAYS be blessed!  By the way, every single moment you spend in Jesus' name...do you think that it is not noticed by God!? No! He sees what you do, and by the way, you will see the result of every single nanosecond you spent alone or with others for the sake of Jesus' name!  It's your job to believe it.  Anything great in our eyes or small in our eyes, that you do to honor Christ is going to be blessed even three to seven fold what you or anyone could ever dream possible!  Have faith in God!   When you feel in your deepest of heart what you need to do, think crazy for God, not practical for people, and God promises you will be blessed (Mt 6:33).

Remember, God's economy rules!

Resistance Vs. Persistence



How do you know your calling?  You know when there is a burning, an ease, a sense that this is your divine assignment.  This is what you see in life that could be better if...that kind of thinking.  You have ideas or maybe even like a pain or frustration when you see something that you know could be different or better if....this kind of thinking.  

Here is the most interesting point to know what your calling is:  There is a often sense of resistance...we think we don't have the right resources, we aren't ready yet, we aren't the person we need to be yet;  but here is the mistake;  know this:  You don't have to have before you go; out of obedience you go and God will give you what you have as you go!  God will give you even more than what you need as you go!

It is practical to feel a resistance when thinking about your calling; but it's faith that isn't often practical....Listen:  the reason why there is a sense of resistance is because when you sense that your calling is divine (not from you but from God), and it's bigger than you, then that is why you require faith to start:  YOU NEED TO GO BY FAITH.   The resistance is an indication that your decision to go will require obedience and your obedience is going to require your faith.   God's divine work always involves these two things, so that it's good.  So just go and know.  Look at John 9.  The blind man just went and washed his eyes, then all he knew was he was blind, but he went, he washed and now he knows he can see!  Maybe you can't see it all right now, but you need to just "go and wash" so to speak and then you'll see. So do it!

Persistence by dictionary, is the firm continuance in a course of action in spirit of difficulty or opposition.  Listen, you may have stepped out in faith and obedience to do what you know you've been called to do.  My challenge to you is this:  just keep doing it!  You know your enjoyment of life comes widely out of that and enjoying your life is a great part of your life!   Keep going.  One step at a time.  Don't worry about what people think, what resources you'll need, how much time, how much for rent, how much for this or that...Just go!  My next blog will be about:  Crazy for God  or Practical for People.  When we do things that are practical because we don't want to stand out of the crowd, God can't really bless that.  But very ironically, when we do something that's completely out of the norm, almost crazy, (Jesus is the greatest example of this)  that's when God will do something so great and awesome that it will be something this generation nor you have ever seen before!!!!   So do it!  Go!  And know that He alone is God!

Jesus' Grace Vs. Your Mistakes



Idolatry is the sneakiest sin you will ever face on this planet.   Let me explain:  Idolatry is anything you place in presidency before God.  You and the great or poor things you've done is included.  In our minds, Jesus has to be greater than even our own sin.    When we look at our mistakes, be very VERY careful!  When you hear messages be VERY careful when you hear a message that says (even a hint) that your mistakes are bigger than God's plan, so big and great in your mind and this world, so fallen and forgone that we (As God's great victors and illumines lights in this world) and life as we know it gone, even though we know that the planet earth is the size of a grain of sand and God delights in displaying his mercy, He is slow to anger and quick to throat the wisdom of the "wise", even (or especially) religious leaders!  This is Our God!  I'm sorry, faith, mercy, and grace saying that we, the people who are sincerely seeking God, do not have to pay for something that is already paid for!

Grace has a message for you:  It's greater than you, how you think about yourself, and everything great or poor that you've done!  Watch for it!   I'm going to make this very clear for you:   Don't idolize your mistakes.  Stop defining your (or anyone else's) mistakes like they could possibly be kind of great in any way in comparison to God's grace and mercy that He poors daily within you and your life!   I'm sorry that I can't apologize for what I'm about to say:  God's grace is greater than your mistakes!    I'm warning you sternly:  Do not listen to a friend, a pastor or anyone who attempts to glorify your shortcomings as if you need to do something besides turn to the cross and move quickly forward!   Yes, we are in His mind,  His grace, His heart, look at some of these movie stars that make mistakes but they keep smiling because they know on a earthly level who they really are!  HOW MUCH MORE WITH YOU!!!     Learn who Jesus is!   Ask Matthew Mark Luke and John:  They will tell you that all that they did and didn't do doesn't validate them as worthy of testifying to Billions of God's grace, but they received it and wrote of the Grace of God and we are reaping the benefits today over and over!  Someone might say, well don't you reap what you sow???  Yes, we do!!  So tell me this:   If you sow grace, mercy, and instill in others to have great faith in the mist of any obstacle  What will you reap?!?     God will not be mocked.   Most people are not living victorious not because of what they are doing, but because of how they think about themselves and others and God in light of how they think about others.   They have a very wrong misconceptions of God because that's the way their parents or some friends think as well.  But I'm here to wake you up!    Stop thinking about your mistakes are triumphs as greater than God who delights in showing his grace, mercy, love, kindness, and goodness greater than you want to pay for your own mistakes!    Beloved of the Most Hight,  it is no longer your responsibly to deal with your mistakes; it's your responsibility to worship Jesus, look to him, give everything to God and see what He he will do and don't you dare look back!   It's your responsibility to go forth and live by faith!     Trust yourself!  Trust God!  Trust Jesus!  And then trust what Jesus can do in others!  Stop saying in your mind things related to great feats or mistakes of other people because that reflects what you think about yourself as well and it is not effective in your life to think this way.  

 Say to yourself and others:  God is stronger than your great feats and short comings:  and God is goooooood.     You think you know what good looks like??   God knows better.   His good isn't so good that only you notice it....It's so good that even people who claim that they don't know God has to shout for Joy!  That's the power of grace and that's the power of the work of God!   I could go on, but I'm for more work!   See ya!

Poverty Vs. Patience



Patience brings a reward of righteousness.  Patience always, I repeat  ALWAYS yields a reward.  Are you thinking about what you need to apply patience to now?  When we are impatient, we are forfeiting the reward we could gain from having patience in that circumstance or situation.  That is why when we make a mistake we ought to have patience and apply patience to that problem in prayer and moving forward.  That is why we persevere which means to endure with great patience.  patience is a container that is constantly filling up and up and up and up and it is God's pleasure to see it full and will tip it over that situation at just the right time!  Practice patience with making money, doing a great job and work, relationships with others and understand that you will be rich in every way when you apply patience.  Another word you can use for patience is trust.  You are not frustrated because you trust that all will turn out so well, a great outcome is coming!  This is what patience communicates and what confidence is sided by.  Remember, patience always has close behind it confidence, hope, trust, and peace.   Teach yourself patience with others and especially with yourself.  God gives to you generously, so ask Him.

Loneliness Vs. Holiness



There is a myth and a simple lie that says people who spend time alone (with God, since God is always there), this is potential loneliness.  This is a lie.  Holiness' biggest lie.   Jesus was not "lonely" in his 40 days of fasting both night and day.  A.Paul was without a romantic partner, yet he was content in every and all situations and circumstances.   David was on the run for roughly 10 years, yet God was forming his dynasty.
Get this in your head:  What the world views as "lonely" situations are 100% situations of divine Holiness.   Remember that the will of God for your life is holiness.  When you are alone, that is when God can speak to you the most;  That is when God can prepare you for what is to come!  That is when God molds you; transforms you, and teaching you most prized gifts that only heaven can give.  Don't be mistaken, there is no waist of time when you spend time with God, especially time alone in prayer.  Next time you are alone, my hope is that you see "loneliness" as divine appointments to receive the greatest riches from the Most High.

My prayer is that you will see these moments and divine appointments between you and God to prepare for the greater and most powerful appointments to come, the greatest being Christ second coming!  But view these moments that the enemy tempts us all to call "lonely" moments, view them as the only time you will have (because it really is) for you and God develop a close relationship between you and Him scented in holiness.
Holiness isn't just bought and worn like a scarf you buy from a department store and put on; no, it is developed and can get thicker and thicker (sweeter and sweeter) in your life just like a the atmosphere that many lit candles make in a temple.   See one day lived holy as one candle lit and blown out, thus making it's smoke fill the temple...now imagine 365 candles in the temple lit and blown out, leaving the smoke to fill the temple.  How beautiful is that filled atmosphere in God's eyes!  Now live holy.  Don't waist another lit day.  Your destiny depends on your holiness because your destiny is not financial; it's not just your career,  it's your relationship with (first) God, and (second) people.  

Declare today to yourself:  I will live Holy!

Love is About Putting Smiles on Faces



 Let me tell you about what love's about:  Love is about helping other people.  That's it!  My most recent prayer is this:  Lord, let me not care about anything but helping others and myself in the process.  :)   Truth be told: You don't need to care about anything else if you care about/for/with people.

Check this out 

 You may be familiar with this verse about love.  Watch and notice the meaning as I insert this simple phrase: caring for and helping people.  By the way, this is all our God thinks about and does all day long...and He's planning on doing this for an eternity!  So what else is there to really care about and say that we aren't wasting our time doing??  Everything we do ought to be for this purpose alone, for when we do this, we love God right back!

If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not [care for other people], I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not [care for people], I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not [care for my brother], I gain nothing.
 
4   [In care for others, be]patient, [be] is kind. [There is no longer] envy, [no more] boast[ing], [death of desire to be] proud. 5 [helping others shows no] dishonor [to] others, it is not self-seeking, [in helping others, we are] not easily angered, [and we keep] no record of wrongs.  Do you see what I mean?  Love is putting smiles on faces because those faces will be counted in heaven for eternity.  Pray to God today.  Ask Him how you can put a smile on some people's faces today.

God is Giving Me Rich Wisdom ALWAYS :)



God is sowing into our lives wisdom.  It's all around.  The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; therefore, consciousness of God brings you great wisdom and it ever increases in your life.  Understanding that God is in complete control and is fighting for us every second of every moment of every day brings a flood of wisdom moment by moment into our lives, daily.  God is fighting for you every moment; in God's time all will see and be is very glad! :)   Don't be bothered by the people you see around you that seem to be gloating in your face.  God is working all good for you today : )  Be glad and so happy, for your King fights for you today!  Accept His wisdom and discipline into your life today, whatever it is, accept it into your life.


Wisdom is your sister and your kinswoman today : )

Throw a Thankful Party! Just You!



Take time to throw a thankful party!  In your car, just toss your hands up in the air and say "Thank you!  Thank you so much!"  Don't worry, your mind will automatically think of why you are saying it!  Just say it!  Do this often.

Get into the practice of throwing thankful parties around other people.  Just respond to others with some kind of gratitude about their life or yours.   Let everyone around you know that pity parties are for kids, Thankful parties are for adults!  Take back the event!  In other words seize the moment for the good of it all.  Squeeze out the goodness from being together with whoever you are together with.  Your days will multiply in wonder and pleasant splendor : )  

Isn't it wonderful to know that there's more!  Whenever you are standing somewhere, whether nothing to do or at a very vibrant event; it's refreshing to know that you can make it MORE!  You can bring a smile on others' faces today.   Do two things; two things that myth has said you need a reason first to perform:  not true:  Do these two things daily and as frequent as possible:  Number One:  Smile    Number Two:  Say "Thank You!"   Try it today.  You'll see something great happen in your life I guarantee.  What is the greatest sign that something is changing and transforming the world forever???   It will start always with you.  God bless you.

God promises He will guide your life. Pray and ask God to bring the right people into your life. God will guide you to the right church full of people who love His words in the Bible. Being Fruitful Means: Enjoy Your Life :)

The first command to man was this:  Be fruitful and increase in number!



As I looked at the Spanish word for "to enjoy", I noticed that in Spanish "to enjoy" means "disfrutar".   The prefix "dis" usually means "from" and obviously "frutar" coming phonetically from the word "fruta" which is "fruit" in Spanish.  Even if for coincidence, one can make the simple connection for the reason why "fruta" or "fruit" is in this verb.  In a great sense, being fruitful means to enjoy what God has given you or bring enjoyment to the lives of others.  Being fruitful often comes from a desire to enjoy ones life.

One day, I said to myself, "You know, I'm going to make sure even if I'm walking down the stree, I'm going to enjoy my life!" :)   If was interesting, because as this thought was playfully swimming in my mind, I found myself speaking clearer than usual to other, more confidently, and more bodly!  Like I was living ON PURPOSE!

Being fruitful is directly connected to enjoying ones' own life.  They say, "When you perform music, don't forget to enjoy what you're doing!"  It's not really what you're playing that's most important; rather it's the fact that you enjoy what you do that attracts others to what you are doing!   When I teach my kids while I'm here in Spain.  I have to remind myself to ENJOY what I am doing because people can sense when you are not enjoying yourself.  It's like our first sense as human beings.  We literally just kinda know..

So enjoy your life!  That's is why our Savior came!  That is what Jesus is still dedicating his entire focus on to the glory of God: for us to have a VERY fruitful and abundant life. Let the critics like it or not!  Being fruitful means enjoy what God has given you today!  In other words, God created all things and told man, "This I made for you to enjoy in abundance. So enjoy!"   Nothing brings more pleasure to God than our faith, believing in great things and believing that with God all great things are possible and with God is an abundant and great and amazing life!  God is so good and great!  God be praised!!
