Stopping in for A Check : )

Today's run really gave me a lot to chew on today.

1. Anger is often covered with personal offense; personal offense is often covered with self-centered expectations.  The key here that I see God telling me personally is to not have and let go of your self-centered expectations.  That kills the feed that was feeding all of my offenses, which can cure anger from the root.  Praise the Lord!

2. Checking consistently the interior of your vehicle.

God showed me that people who are using their car to get someplace often check their engine, change their oil well, change their tires, etc.  I asked God why often people, including me, do not like change?   I feel that God is answering saying, "Because people who don't feel like they are going anywhere don't want to check their car's interior."  It's embarrassing to know about the things you have neglected.  But a habit of consistently checking the interior, or in spiritually terms, checking the heart frequently, or physically speaking, going in for a check frequently as necessary, etc is a good sign of what we need to do as Christians.  Let God change your tires, change your oil, change things in you to make you run better.  He's waiting to give us that check today.

If you'd like to accept Jesus into your life today, pray this simple prayer of God's love and grace today: Lord Jesus, I thank you for dying for all my sin; now Lord I invite you into my heart. Come and be my everything today and forever. Forgive my sin as I make You and you alone Lord in my life. Amen. Now read the book of God's love in the Bible: The book of John chapters 1-21. God promises He will guide your life. Pray and ask God to bring the right people into your life. God will guide you to the right church full of people who love His words in the Bible. Our God is so faithful. God bless you today.
