God's Love is like an Ark - The Only Thing to Out Last the very Last Day : )

God's love is like an Ark.  Our role is to get in it.  It's the only thing that will out last all these other things.  What is God's love?  His Love is patient and kind; His love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. His Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

His Love never ends. It never fails.  It triumphs all.

Live in God's love today.  Amen.

The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell;
It goes beyond the highest star,
And reaches to the lowest hell;
The guilty pair, bowed down with care,
God gave His Son to win;
His erring child He reconciled,
And pardoned from his sin.

Oh, love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure
The saints’ and angels’ song.

Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade;
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry;
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky.

You'll Be SURPRISED What I Can and Will Do With ALL Your Mistakes! ;)

Question:  Is the problem too big for you?  That means it probably belongs to God.  Give it to Him.  I can hear God saying, "Trust me".  There are many times when we make a mistake or a simple decision that we wonder about, thinking, "Did I do that right?  How am I going to go on with this decision I made or this mistake I made?"  But in God we have to realize something:  There is only trust if we choose to follow him.  God is saying, "You'd be very surprised what I can do with your mistakes."  Often our problems aren't what we worry about the most.  It's our mistakes or the possibility of our mistakes that so often looks so great and big to us.  But we have to sit back, realizing that he made us the way we are for a purpose, so that we can shine and thrive just the way we are, because if we are walking on the road with Christ, He will give us all we need to meet our destination.  I can hear God saying, "Trust Me more." :) Be still and know He is God.  You can place a Period after that one.  :)

Trust God Today and Be Ready To Be SURPRISED with His Goodness today.  Amen.

From "I have to" To "I choose to" (Speak Life) :)

"I have" to

This may be a small thing, but they are the small adjustments in life we make that often make a huge amount of the difference in our lives, and in winning the battles we face.

I stopped saying the phrase "I have to" when I speak to or with others.  I stopped this because it just didn't feel right saying it.  After a while, I understood in my heart of hearts that "I have to" just wasn't true..  Also, I felt like I speaking as thought I was being dragged to do something I didn't want to do, or not out of my own pleasure to do so. I would just passively continue to say it but I read about someone who spoke about changing your language and then I realized some of the things I was habitually saying was affecting the way I behaved, my attitude and the way I was thinking about my tasks for the day.

I realized attitude can affect emotions and if that attitude is on a downward slope, without realizing it, this [language in this case] can drag us down with it if we don't stop to think about why we say things.  I found that we can so easily find ourselves exhausted at the end of the day and have no idea why or how.

Check this out.   My attitude now is that, "No one has anyone by the throat and even if they did, I still do not 'have to' do anything", but you can always choose.  ALWAYS.  So, now on, my attitude is, there are no "have tos" in my life, but there are convictions, and with those convictions there is the clear and wise choice, and with these are things that I feel "must happen", and I believe God can help us to accomplish these things as long as this is His desire as well.  God gives us the strength to do everything, and often that is what He gives us is what we find given from within, not from the outside so much;  therefore, I changed my language from "I have to" or she has to" into "I am to" and "We are to" and I do feel bad, in fact, I like knowing that I am choosing language that makes me feel good about my decisions and I would encourage you to consider this as well.

"I Am" to

Everything I am made to accomplish is not necessarily based off of what I have around the house, but based firstly on what God put inside of me and my faith in that.   I know what you're thinking,  it's such a small thing, this phrase "have to" and does it really matter if we say a simple phrase or not?  Perhaps not, but personally my answer for my life is, "It's the little foxes that spoil the vine."  Small rutters steer a big boat.  So "Yes" it matters.  My opinion is this: we need to speak as ones who are free from the control suggestive language, or any idea that we are forced not to act out of joy but out of drudgery.  My question is this:  How bad do you want overflowing joy?  My attitude is, a healthy attitude and spirit starts with how we use our language, in detail.

As I mentioned earlier, it came to my attention that language and the small phrases we use  on a day to day basis can be and are like the bits we place in a horses mouth to lead the horse wherever we choose.  The Bible says, " When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal... Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark." What I hear from this is: Make sure you place the right sparks in your little tongue that points you in the direction God has for you to go.

Instead of saying "I have to go and do this" try saying, "I choose to go and do this" or "I will go and do this".  There something a little more healthy about saying the latter, but a little bit everyday makes a big difference in the long run.   There are even some bits of language that I am getting rid of that suggests bits of laziness or procrastination to set in, like "I'm about to" or just habitually using the word "later" too often at the end of every obligatory statement.  Instead, I'm leaving those words and leaning more on words that help me to say the phrase, "I will....[on a specific estimated date and/or time].  You'll find that you're energy will be higher and higher and you will habitually have higher expectations of what God is going to do in your life just by the small adjustments of the words that you speak out loud.

As I mentioned, as you place the right sparks in your little tongue that points you in the direction God has for you to go, you will flourish, you will thrive, and you will find success as you speak the word of God.

Smart for My Name Sake Vs. Foolish For God's Name Sake

Which are you?  I thought about the first one, "Smart for my own name sake" and I would have to say I have done this.  I have thought about how things could work out for me so I can look good to others.  I tried looking smart, but I never realized that I wasn't fooling anybody.  I especially wasn't fooling God.   I learned that He knows the beginning from the end.  He truly knows the root of my heart and all my actions.  God knows when I am not really doing this or that for his glory, and when I'm doing it for just my own name sake.  The funny thing is, when we are all wrapped up in the "smart for my own name sake" thing, I find it is even more impossible for me to be wrapped up in the "Foolish for God's Name Sake" thing; you can't have both, in my humble opinion.

This challenges our frame of mind.  For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.  This is to say that ANYTHING with a sincere heart for God in it is stronger and is better than ANYTHING without.  Expertise and knowledge is good, but often too much dependence on expertise and you have just chocked out the heart of the matter.  There has to be some volunerability when it comes to God. You can't just 100% have it all figured out and know all of the practical answers in God's kingdom.  The rich man wanted to justify himself so he asked Jesus "What else must I do, teacher? Is there anything else I need to do?"  Jesus wanted the rich man to find his heart, where his heart is, his volunerability; Jesus told him, "Go and sell all that you have, give it to the poor [those who you have despised], and then follow me!"  That was too hard!  He would need God's help for that one!  In the same way, we all have volunerability and we all need to be at that place and be okay with it.

Be foolish for God's name sake and He will take care of you.  He says,

“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise
    and discard the intelligence of the intelligent.” any.  So we might as well lean on His wisdom alone and his strength.

This means, don't worry about those who look like they have it all together and they might be ridiculing you.  Those who don't want to be humble will be humbled.  Those who don't want to say that I [God] had a place in this will be put to shame, but those who serve me, I will honor.

Give up your right to be "smart for your own name sake"  Cross over into "Foolish for God's name sake" today.  Jesus did.   He could have had it all earthly speaking on this earth, but instead he chose a cross, death on a cross; he died for you and me and for our sin.  To man kind during Jesus' generation, this was FOOLISHNESS, but he did it and it has made and does make up ALL THE DIFFERENCE today. In fact, it is the only thing that matters.  This was such a beautiful act of love that Jesus could not remain in the grave.  Three days later, He rose again from the dead and now He lives forever with God at his right hand.  "At the right hand" means God has given him ALL authority in heaven and on earth, and He will reign for ever and ever and more!

So let us lose our desire to be "smart for you own good" and  be foolish for God's own good today.  Ask your local pastor what that looks like or may mean in your own life.  Read the Bible and get discipled under someone who Biblically teaches you in the word of God today.  He said he will never leave you nor forsake you.  He will be with you even after this life.  :)  God bless you as you go on this wonderful adventure in Jesus.

If you'd like to accept Jesus into your life today, pray this simple prayer of God's love and grace today: Lord Jesus, I thank you for dying for all my sin; now Lord I invite you into my heart. Take Off Saul's Armor :)

Saul's armor represents the armor that we often put on based off of what we think we need to get a certain take, job, or purpose done.  Saul's armor made David look like he was a winner.  It made him look like a winner in the eyes of the other warriors who were watching Goliath, scared in the boots.   The Bible says, when he tried on Saul's armor, "David fastened on his sword over the tunic and tried walking around, because he was not used to them. "I cannot go in these," he said to Saul, "because I am not used to them." So he took them off."

How many times or in how many situations do try on Saul's armor because we think we are going to win the battle that way?  Many young men and women are looking for the hottest guy and girl possible because they think this is what they need to be a winner or because they want somebody who will make them look like successful.  Many people trying to do many thing in the way the world does it because they know they will receive the approval they want from men and women and become popular enough to get the job they want.  Everyone wants to  get to where they think they need to be.  But in order to get to where God says we need to be, we need to take off Saul's armor.  Take off the obligations, expectations, and step by step manufactured formula that people alone try to put on you, and trust God with what we have.

The Bible says, "Then [David] took his staff in his hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream, put them in the pouch of his shepherd's bag and, with his sling in his hand, approached the Philistine [Goliath]." How many times has David held a staff in his hand?  How many times did David go to the stream to pick stones from the stream before this event?  How many times did David use his sling before facing Goliath?  My point is, David was very used to this and he knew that all he needed was his confidence in what God already gave him to defeat Goliath, AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED!

We need to keep in mind that we need to keep things simple when it comes to facing Goliath in battle.  God has already given us EVERYTHING we need to not only win the battle, but win the battle with a great story, a great testimony, to tell that will give all the glory not to us, but to our AWESOME GOD who has been helping us all along.

Trust God today.  Ask for His presence.  Know that God has given you strength for today to say "Yes, I can" and when you think about something you are to accomplish, then say "I will" when you feel that deep desire to accomplish it.  Say it over and over and over and over and over again until it happens.

God bless you fill your heart today!!  YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IN JESUS' NAME
AMEN :)

God Loves to Create New Words In Your Life :)

God really loves to create something NEW.   Check this out.

Before Lazarus died, Mary and Martha only knew about words such as "illness", "health", "sick", "healing"....They never heard of a RESURRECTION until Jesus came by.

We didn't know of such a word.  It's the same way in our lives.  Can you get enough faith (you already have it!) today to believe that God wants to do something SO NEW you don't even have a word to describe it yet!!?

God wants to give you something so amazing, it's going to take a newer, more full and abundant words to fully describe even just a glimpse of what God wants to do and is doing in your life.   Get ready, because you are about to go into a land where new words are going to be said all the time, words that you haven't been used to hearing so often.

I remember when I moved from working in an low budget school and into a high quality school where I was introduced to many new words (it makes me chuckle now); words such as "[Quality] Organic [food]", "use your words", "love of learning", and more.  It inspired me and I added these words and phrases to my vocabulary and I now "use my words."  I invite you to use your words today : )  Use words such as Resurrection, restoration, Overcomer, Redeemed, Superblessed, "Awesome God" often today. :)

So Blessed are you :)  This is going to be an INCREDIBLY AWESOME POWERFULLY AMAZING AND GRACE-FILLED day today! Amen :)

If you'd like to accept Jesus into your life today, pray this simple prayer of God's love and grace today: Lord Jesus, I thank you for dying for all my sin; now Lord I invite you into my heart. Moving into the Environment of Expectation

The only thing important right now is faith and the presence of the Living God.   That is your environment of expectation.  There are three things, as a man, today I prayed to God.  I said, "God, I pray that you use me in every area of my life to proclaim your goodness and glory."  And God  I, as a man want to give to you these three things

1. other Women
2. Money
3. Fame

These three things, I believe, every man must give over to God in order to be truly used in any effective way.   I prayed today, "God I want you to put me in a platform that will touch millions of people for Christ, but I, in your presence and in the presence of all these people who read my message, I want you to know that you have all women in the palm of your hand; it is not my mission to save them, but I entrust all except (and first and foremost) for the women in my household, into your hands.   Secondly, I want you to take the money I make and use it for your purpose alone, I give it up to you today in my heart and mind today.  I take it out of my personal ambitions,  for you know well that these three things were in my heart and mind concerning my own ambitions.  I give them to you today.   Finally, all fame (or power) I hand over to you today.  I will not accept it but will put the direct to the one who desires all the fame and all the power, and all the majesty.  Jesus!   I place myself into your own presence by your grace for your word says, Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.  In You, Lord Jesus and through faith in You we approach God with freedom and confidence.  Father, let power flow through me and towards the thrown of my Savior, Jesus Christ.

We have now entered into the environment of expectation.
We are moving into environments and environments of expectation.

If you'd like to accept Jesus into your life today, pray this simple prayer of God's love and grace today: Lord Jesus, I thank you for dying for all my sin; now Lord I invite you into my heart. Right Place / Right Time Vs The Rewards of the Presence of the Lord

Right place at the right time vs. the reward of the presence of the Lord.

Sometimes we have to choose. Yes, choose whether we want to be at the right place at the right time or the presence of the Living God.  When we seek the presence of the Living God, we instantly position ourselves to be at the right place at the right time.  No more seeking and no more step by step recipe of life needed.    What we think is the right place at the right time will often leave us hopelessly in a whirlwind, going here and there and helplessly frustrated.  This is very much because there is no right place and the right time without peace in God.  So, again, yes, we have to choose if we want to seek being at the right place at the right time before being okay with staying where we are to seek the rewards of the presence of the Spirit of the Lord.

We can not seek to be at a location or a position more than seeking peace with God at the same time; we can only choose one or choose the other.

There is no quick fix.  There is no short cut.  There is not a step by step plan.  No step by step to this life, only step after step.  Love doesn't live on a step by step recipe - love is quite the opposite; love does this on purpose to prove that God is God and man is man.   Man needs a step by step formula for survival.  God doesn't.  My man-ness wants always to have a play by play, and I realize that God doesn't work that way.  He is SUPER in my frailty.

How about I stop.  Stop trying.  Receive peace now : )

If you'd like to accept Jesus into your life today, pray this simple prayer of God's love and grace today: Lord Jesus, I thank you for dying for all my sin; now Lord I invite you into my heart. Come and be my everything today and forever. Forgive my sin as I make You and you alone Lord in my life. Amen. Now read the book of God's love in the Bible: The book of John chapters 1-21. Missed Opportunities vs. Believing in God

Why the "parable of the flood" with the man waiting on the shore is not entirely accurate and why opportunities CAN NOT be missed.

Belief in God IS salvation.  There is none higher or greater.

Myth:  God hides opportunities, and makes us guess where they are.

God doesn't play hide-and-go-seek-that-opportunity game with us and then says, "Why didn't you take that opportunity?  Sorry, I must have hidden it too well for you...And Oh, I am unable to make more opportunities for you..sorry!"  Do you know how I know this?  Because God himself, IS the opportunity.  If you found God, you found all the opportunity you will ever have and need for EVERY situation.  That also means that your wife is your opportunity, your friends are, your husband, your family is. Don't miss them by looking for that new raise.

"Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul..."  Jesus is saying, trust God, trust in Jesus.  Don't trust in opportunities more than the one who gives them.

We are not to live for this world, but for eternal life.  There is a belief, especially where I live in the United States, that we must live for the next opportunity, and if we don't do this or that, we could miss it.  Well, we are doing this so much that we do not love our neighbors because they might be in the way of our next big opportunity or big break!    We don't trust in God because we never know when we need to be ready for the next opportunity that God MIGHT be giving to us, afraid that we could miss out!   I'm going to break this right NOW!   This myth MUST be defeated because if we can miss opportunities as many present day Pastor's argue, that means the power of faith and belief in God alone is not justified as the highest form of help, an ever present help in time of need, as salvation and what actually pleases God.  Belief and faith in God is being replaced with opportune moments in time.  Yes faith without works is dead, but faith in what and faith in who without works is dead?    How did we get so far off the mark?   How did Jonah show his faith?   My point is this:  we do not trust in an opportunity, but we trust and make all our movements based on belief in God. I do believe that God knows how to bring us to our destination and God can not fail.  He does not need our human strength for ANYTHING.  What nerve we have as humans to change what Jesus said.  He said, "If you believe, all things are possible"   So whatever we do, whether we stay or whether we go, whether we eat or whether we drink.  If we do it unto God, there are no missed opportunities, only the belief that honors God, miracles will follow.

Unmissable

You are the light of the world.  A city on a hill CAN NOT be hidden. Did Jesus ever say that "If you are at the right place at the right time, all things possible for you."  No, Jesus said, "You are the right opportunity at the right time" when he told us:  You are the light of the world.  A city on a hill CAN NOT BE HIDDEN.    What did Jesus say, "All things are possible for those who believe."  This suggests that we are not to be looking for the right opportunities at the right time to receive a big huge break, but we are to be looking for the Right God to believe in for all situations at all times because He is the one we seek, not a big break.   God is more interested in his children giving others a big break any way.  So picturing a man on a sea shore standing and saying, "I'm waiting on God" can be accurate, but what is not accurate is this, God saying at the end, "Hey, I sent you this and that and this..."  This might suggest that a person who "waits on the Lord" is foolish.   but that is not the way God created all things.   We don't have to worry about summer following spring do we??  I hope not!!    It is the same way with true believe and actions that follow.   As for the man who believes, the only thing God is going to say is, "I sent you my one and only Son, and that is all that matters."  Did you know that Jonah was like this man.  What did God do with him? And what is the sign that, as Jesus calls, an adulterous generation, was given?  The sign of Jonah.  This kind of sign is UNMISSABLE.   You can't miss God.  Like Jesus said,  When he comes EVERYONE will know.   No ones going to miss out on acknowledging that Jesus Christ is Lord.   The Bible says, Every knee will bow, and EVERY tongue will confess."    So, I am telling you, no one is missing out on ANY opportunities.  Those who tell you other wise are selling something.     You were waiting to be saved, but I would have stopped the seas from rising if you believed I could."

I wish I had time to tell the story of Lazarus.  Just know this.  Miss opportunities are in fact opportunities for God to show off! :)

Jesus says, Come to Me and I will give you rest or opportunities?  Be still and know that I am God
I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. God knows the beginning from the end.
God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son

If God wanted us to take up something should not be the question, after all, it is God who pursued us.  It was God who first chose us.  It was God who predestined us.  Our job truly is the believe in Him, and guess what?  He will take us up!

Allow me to finish the story about the man and the flood.

The story goes, "When he reached heaven and asked, “God, why did you not save me? I believed in you with all my heart. Why did you let me drown?” God replied, “I sent you a pick-up truck, a boat and a helicopter and you refused all of them. What else could I possibly do for you?”

My edited story goes,

"The man goes to heaven and he says "I believed  in your only son with all my heart." and God says "Well done my good and faithful servant.  Now stay here for a short while until I make all your enemies a foot stool under your feet" because  a time is coming when that man will come back and there will be no flood or wave that will be able to stop him or stand in his way for over trillions upon trillions of  years.  I think that we think way too narrow.  Think about it.  One day there will be no cars and no more need to hurry anywhere; there will be no more threats, only enjoyment of every moment of every day.  Therefore, set your hopes on heaven. Just as we open our eyes slowly in the bright side in order to adjust our eyes, so it is with this short life and its purpose to prepare us for eternity.   So fix your eyes on Jesus.  On God.   On things above and not below.

God promises He will guide your life. Pray and ask God to bring the right people into your life. God will guide you to the right church full of people who love His words in the Bible. Our God is so faithful. God bless you today.

Declare the Day a Joy-filled, Happy Day!

Psalm 121:

I lift up my eyes to the hills.
From where does my help come?
My help comes from the LORD,
who made heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot be moved;
he who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, he who keeps Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

The LORD is your keeper;
the LORD is your shade on your right hand.
The sun shall not strike you by day,
nor the moon by night.

The LORD will keep you from all evil;
he will keep your life.
The LORD will keep
your going out and your coming in
from this time forth and forevermore

"Declare the day a joy-filled, happy day when you wake up. This is the day that God has made. I will have joy and be glad in it. SPEAK the truth with love. ASK good questions. LISTEN with understanding and not just for agreement. THINK in silence and do not interrupt. We are the S.A.L.T. of the earth. This is the process of great communication. Do not give permission for fear, anger, sadness, or hurt to take away your joy. When you experience negative feelings and emotions, have faith that this is a sign that something may be wrong and that there may be conflict. Say thank you to God and then ask for help if needed to solve the problem and see what lessons you are to learn.

Restore, repair, and rebuild damaged relationships by asking what you can do to make the relationship better. Ask for forgiveness and forgive others. Say these words: Please forgive them. Please help me to forgive them. Please forgive me for what I may have done wrong. Please help me to forgive myself for what I may have done wrong. Please take away my
anger and bitterness. Please restore my joy.

Know that negative distress is caused by having to be right, by finding fault, by
trying to control things we cannot control, and by being selfish. Stop bad habits and addictions and distress by saying these words: I want to stop. I can’t stop. Take away my desire. Be willing to admit shortcomings with a humble heart.. Use your super powers. You have the power to control love, encouragement, forgiveness, truth, attitude, humility, and the words that come out of your mouth.

Say these wellness words as often as possible. I’m wrong. I’m sorry. Forgive me. You did a good job. What is your opinion? I love you. Thank you. Please. Make the decision to do the will of God each day."

How Well Do You Understand the Powerful Gifts of Your Spouse? (Psalm 18:39)

When I first married Kayla, I have to admit that I was tempted to ask myself about her flaws until I found out how useless that was for me and for both of us.  God gave me her for many as well as two good reasons:

1. For her weaknesses

Our weakness are to prove that God alone is God.   I am learning that it is a very important tool component that God uses for us to compliment each other (her strengths for my weaknesses and her weaknesses for my strength). This way we can understand that we need each other.

Most of all, similar to what I first mentioned, her weaknesses are not for me to fall into turmoil over, but they are there to reveal God's greatness, His faithfulness, and his grace and mercy upon our lives.  It's simply beautiful to realize day by day how God gave us our weaknesses as a reminder that we need God moment by moment. We were not made to be the stars, no, a thousand times we fail, but God has never failed us, not...even....once!

As God helps me to praise Him for my wife's strengths, it's helping me see her weakness less and less.  In fact, as I praise God for her strengths, even her weaknesses start to be seen as strengths as well, as I see how God reveals His powerful grace in our lives. Yes, we are human, but Jesus (both human and God in nature) has been through it all and He is living in my wife.  So, wow, through Jesus and His love for us we have found Him faithful to us in our time of need more and more, time and time again daily.  This to say, yeah, I praise God for my honey who helps me to understand these things.

2.  Her strengths

One of the strengths of my wife is she is an AWESOME and powerful prayer warrior.  It's in her genes.  : )  When she prays, things get done light years faster than they ever could without it.  I have grown and am growing to really value her prayers more and more in my life.

I also understand how satan tries to work.  For all prayer warriors I believe he tries [with no avail] to send attacks in two ways.  He shows up saying "You don't need to pray for this.  You can figure it out practically. Don't say to God anything about it."  My wife always wins the battle with this one.  The second is this: "Don't be a warrior, be a worrier."  But again, my wife knocks this one out the box!  I praise God for my wife.  She is UNSTOPPABLE!  She is anointed with grace and God's life changing power flows within her bones.   I am so grateful for her.

So how well do you understand your spouses powers? ;)   When I think of my wife, I think of Psalm 18:39

You armed me with strength for battle; you humbled my adversaries before me.

I am so grateful and confident in our future because God gave me a Proverbs 31 woman of faith and strength in God.   And I'm not that bad myself ;)

God bless you today!  I pray for an AMAZING and POWERFUL day for you today!

Amen!

Thinking more about Jesus daily

Whoever you speak about and think about the most is the one who is with you the most.  Whom ever you think about and speak to others about is the one in control over your life.  I think about it this way: the one who you are thinking about is getting stronger and stronger as an influence in your life.

God helped me to realize that the one I am thinking about is the one I am feeding is getting stronger and stronger.  Who is getting stronger and stronger in your life? The strongest one is giving you his direction in your life.   Who is that person in your life?  For me it was myself or better put, my own ego.  My own ego was leading me, and guiding me, and telling me what was the right thing to do.  Talk about dangerously unhealthy!  But I came to realize that my ego couldn't be more than my worst enemy because your ego doesn't care anything about what God cares about; he will avoid serving others because it doesn't involve serving himself at all!  So I felt God is telling me to get rid of such an attitude of always thinking about yourself all the time even if I think it's for a good reason, and start thinking about Jesus.  Start thinking about God's Only Son.   Starting thinking about how God so loved the world that He gave his One and Only Son, that who so ever believes in Him, shall not die, but have everlasting life!   Start thinking about how God showered us with the blessings of His presence through his One and Only beloved Son who died and behold has risen from the dead in three days!  Let Jesus be the one on your mind.  Let Jesus bring you a smile today.   Let him rule in your heart and mind, soul and spirit.  Talk about him more and let His influence grow in your life.

So I ask you, who is on your mind today?  Who do you want is in control over your life today?  Is it yourself?  Is it a parent?  Friends?  I challenge you to speak the name of Jesus often while you're in the house, while taking a walk, while on your job.  Think about Him; what he is interested in.  Let him be on your mind and heart today.  Let Him take control over your life today.
