You For You Sake!

"You, Lord, are all I have, and you give me all I need; my future is in your hands".  Psalm 16:5 GNT

God is the greatest treasure.  Our generation has been attacked and I use the word attacked because of the aggression of distraction from the enemy in media in commercials, in options and especially in success!  I think no tool in our age has never been so distracting as results and success.  I was a chaser after these two things that I worshiped it with all my heart until yesterday when I heard a message from John Bevere about trembling before the word of God.  I realized that I was not after God for God but for the results.  Listen, some people can do that and that's fine, but as for me, I can't fool anybody.  I repented before God and now I humbly ask for  you to check your heart.  Are you going after things for what it will do for  you? Or are you pursuing God because He is God and He loves you and wants to be with you?  I am asking God to transform the way I think about everything I am doing.  I am asking God to search all my ways and redefine me and refine me.  I want to be found in Him.  I want to be found in Jesus Christ and that's all, no exceptions! I want to be found in obedience.  Let's pray for one another to be found in obedient believing in Jesus.

Pray this prayer with me:

"You, Lord, are all I have, and you give me all I need; my future is in your hands. 6 How wonderful are your gifts to me; how good they are! 7 I praise the Lord, because he guides me, and in the night my conscience warns me. 8 I am always aware of the Lord's presence; he is near, and nothing can shake me. 9 And so I am thankful and glad, and I feel completely secure, 10 because you protect me from the power of death. I have served you faithfully, and you will not abandon me to the world of the dead. 11 You will show me the path that leads to life; your presence fills me with joy and brings me pleasure forever." Psalm 16:5-11 GNT

If you'd like to accept Jesus into your life today, pray this simple prayer of God's love and grace today: Lord Jesus, I thank you for dying for all my sin; now Lord I invite you into my heart. Come and be my everything today and forever. Forgive my sin as I make You and you alone Lord in my life. Amen. Now read the book of God's love in the Bible: The book of John chapters 1-21. God promises He will guide your life. Pray and ask God to bring the right people into your life. God will guide you to the right church full of people who love His words in the Bible. Our God is so faithful. God bless you today.
