a BOLD and POWERFUL Leader in Christ

You may receive opposition even from the closest friends in your life, but you must remember to not give over your power to anyone but Jesus Christ, your Head, who is LORD and the most powerful over your life.
Loving others is not making them happy.  Loving others is praying for the best in their lives.  Now this role is different for each person, male, female, teacher, judge, mail man, husband in a family, the wife, but they are at the same time the same.  We must both and all lay down our lives.

But we must learn how to be humble, yet be a bold and fearless leader as we follow Christ.  Lord teach us how to do this!

For example, I am learning not to cover up my flaws to make it easier for people to love me. I am learning: Be transparent, make your mistakes, own them and walk forward in love.  Be always willing to be "weak" around others because it is when you are weak that you are the strongest you have ever been before!   It was when Jesus broke the bread that over 5,000 people were feed.  Church, you are the bread that Jesus wants to break to feed the people around them.  We need boldly broken people looking to Jesus so that others can be broken people looking to Jesus as well.   Eggs shells translates as pride.  A person easily offended is waaay to focused on themselves.  This hurts for me because this describes what I was like for so long, but Jesus is healing me and now I understand that I have been accused so much of being the one who others had to walk on egg shells that I didn't notice the egg shells I had to walk over to avoid others from blowing up as well.  I realized that there are others around me focusing too much on themselves as well.  Here's the point:  There are many insecure people around us focused too much on themselves and as a result growing exceedingly puffed up on their own pride to the rough and it feels like walking around landmines because the enemy wants to take Christians' confidence away from where it belongs: In Christ!  Confidence in Christ is contagious and it's the power of God to wake up this generation!  And it's the one thing the enemy DOES NOT want to happen to us because that would mean Christians are more focused on Christ and the needs of other people than they are themselves!  This confidence is more powerful than the spirit of insecurity. God has not given us a spirit of timidity or fear, but a spirit of POWER and of LOVE and of a SOUND MIND and SELF-CONTROL.   Once you are set free you are never going back the same where you came! You will be a healthy solider giving confidence in Christ to others.  Spend time with Jesus today.  The most confident person that we can be around is Jesus.  Jesus is alive and you can invite Him into your life today, but here's the key:  Give up the power of insecurity; tell Him about it and anything else, besides Him, that you let control your life give it up and confess that God is stronger, more powerful and greater than you and He is with you.

Be strong and very courageous.  The battle is not yours.  The battle is the Lords.  We don't fight against flesh and blood.  Pray with joy!  Praise God!  Fight the good fight with faith God's way and you will be victorious in every place you step.

Like I said, I had been walking on egg shells for years and now I will live my life with boldness and with freedom in Christ and without fear of offending hurting or making someone else angry I will live free from all this in Jesus name Amen This is the unhappy life that Bill Cosby was talking about we're not living to please people were living to not offend people and make him angry and hurt us but that is no way to live we're making it easier trying to make it easy for people to love us but we need to stop doing that love needs to be deeper than that

49 Godly Character Qualities (I must pray for)

49 Godly Character Qualities

I found this list on a parenting page called Grace Online Library (http://www.graceonlinelibrary.org/home-family/christian-parenting/49-godly-character-qualities/) .  Definitely a great reminder for me to pray for these to be seen in me.  The writer(s) of this page mention to remember the goal is not moralism or behaviorism.  These character qualities are a reflection of the new man, a regenerate heart.  So as you see deficiency in others we must point others to Christ for forgiveness and growth in grace.  We realize that external character, obedience or “polish” without a new heart is nothing but a work-related righteousness and legalism.   The main point here is to focus on Jesus and his love for us and then watch your character grow (through His word) deeper and deeper in Him because of Christ and His love for you. photo from http://colag.org/ministries/children/

(21 Reasons) Why the pursuit to support my wife

Because I'm not stupid! lol

But seriously, some may wonder, "man, why you post a lot of positive shout outs to or about your wife, you in trouble or something??"  No. My answer is..I don't know, I just feel passionately about this.  I. my wife is my wife and my only wife and the only wife that I have.  I love her.  I do want to do my best to acknowledge her and I know it is not based off of her performance but based off of who she is, but more than that, something in me tells me that I am so blessed and I want to express it.  That's it. So I present some very small glimpses into why do this.  I'm not going to scratch the surface.  I'm not going to even come close to scratching the surface here.  I know I won't but I'm going to try.  Here we are.
  1. I enjoy it! And she is all of these things and it is so deep I'm really having a hard time making this explanation short (Okay, that's two reasons..I know).
  2. One of my gifts is in expressing these things and I want my wife and children to be apart of that.
  3. Everyone needs a hobby, this is one of mine (to express my thanks for her)
  4. I like acknowledging my wife, but also I know I must remember to do this more often one on one and in the presence of other people as well.
  5. Honoring her helps remind me that life's not all about me.
  6. She reminds me that I'm not here for me.
  7. She reminds me that she literally is God's instrument to save me from myself!
  8. Praising her reminds me that she is immeasurably important and I want to respect her position.  Her position is important.  She is important.  Not her performance but who she is is infinitely important.
  9. Giving her honor helps me see more clearly how God sees us, how God sees her and through her I can better see how God sees me.
  10. Honoring her brings light into our house and then I can easily see God more clearly  through my gratitude for her.
  11. When I honor her before myself I am reminded that I am keeping God first who commanded us.  "...in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others."  Philippians 2:3b,4 And I want to pursue explore and discover more of that.
  12. Expressing my thanks for her is incredible in and of itself and it reflects how God made us.
  13. It sets up a practice of supporting my daughters and sons and sets good perspective on how to treat women and mothers.
  14. In respect particularly to my sons, it can be a great example to set on how to treat the women (friends, coworkers, employees, wife, and children etc..) in their future lives.
  15. I want to practice acknowledging her in general..just because I want this to be apart of who I am.
  16. She is all of these wonderful things and I want to practice confession of the truth, not just thinking it.
  17. I want to see how powerful our connection cord of three strands can get.  A cord of three strands, me, my wife and Jesus is incredibly powerful (Ecclesiastes 4:12).
  18. Proverbs 31:28 says, "Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband [also], and he praises her" I want to be obedient to that because my wife is a Pro31 woman.
  19. I want to express my thanks to God because He gave me a beautiful beautiful woman of God (who loves the LORD).
  20. There are much deeper reasons why I praise her, but those are just for her :)
  21. I'm pursing maturity, love and sacrifice which is when a man forfeits something of value to him for something he considers of higher value. I want to (I pray to) practice this pursuit.

* I know that in doing this I also honor my mother, her mother and other women in my family that really deserve the kind of praise because they really are beautiful women and God made them very beautiful.  I am truly thankful for each of them.

*Another thing is I want the women in my family to know that their men support them in whatever God-honoring thing they want to do in life.

If you'd like to accept Jesus into your life today, pray this simple prayer of God's love and grace today: Lord Jesus, I thank you for dying for all my sin; now Lord I invite you into my heart. Come and be my everything today and forever. Forgive my sin as I make You and you alone Lord in my life. Amen. Now read the book of God's love in the Bible: The book of John chapters 1-21. I'm so thankful for my wife (Father's Day)

I'm so thankful for my wife.  For father's day she gave me a wonderful book and mouse pad with the picture of me and my baby together.  She was so loving. I felt the spirit of God on and in me yesterday.  His spirit is so gentle and kind and gracious. How else can we experience God unless we be still to know He is God.  I try to write down everything that happened but it is so difficult because I am overwhelmed with thankfulness.  When I see my wife I see the kindness of our Savior.  Thank you, Jesus, for saving me.  How do I express all of these things I feel inside?  You are great, God, levels upon levels of goodness humility and grace.   You teach me to be still and see the goodness and greatest of your grace that has always been around me.  Thank you for my wife.  Thank you, my wife, for being such a loving example of Christ in my life.  Amen.

P.S.
I'm so thankful God gave me a wife that loves God and loves all God's ways.  I'm so blessed because of her honor to God with her life.  She knows it's not because of her but because of Christ Jesus and the Jesus I see in her giving and in her smile everyday, (LORD, MAY I NEVER TAKE THIS FOR GRANTED!).  Thank you, God.  You are great!  You are so good!

Ephesians 5:20 “giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

If you'd like to accept Jesus into your life today, pray this simple prayer of God's love and grace today: Lord Jesus, I thank you for dying for all my sin; now Lord I invite you into my heart. The Character Built Up in Abraham

Today, I  had a revelation of Abraham.  God taught me that Abraham was a man of faith and God was building up his character inside.  God told me, "Do you know what that test was revealing when Abraham offered Isaac the sacrifice of his heart?"  It revealed the gift that God had given to Abraham: trust, obedience, and faith developed that can now be passed on from generation to generation: this is a generation and a people of faith of even the impossible.  This is incredibly important and crucial.  God developed in Abraham and that's what the years in "waiting" was all about.

When God called Abraham at first his faith was not that strong.  He lied about Sarai being his sister instead of his wife.  Later he let himself go to Hagar to sleep with her and have Ishmael.  God showed me, "do you think that Abraham would have agreed to do this if he was as strong in faith and obedience as he was when he offered his one and only son of faith that he loved?"  No.  Therefore, this test was revealed to all of us for all time what God is developing in us and that is what the relationship is all about.  I want to grow more in my relationship with God.   The true gift that God is trying to give me is trust and purity in obedience to God and God alone.  Enough faith to offer up our entire gift to God because God is the most important One.  There is so much to this that it feels like it is bursting inside of me.  This is very special.  The gift is the character God made in Abraham (to be passed on by the way).  The gift was the behavior of one who has a close relationship with  Jesus by faith.  This is special.  The most special.  So special that God showed me this as I laid in bed and I pray that God reveals all this to me.  God cares more about the person we become to be fit and ready to fellowship with him much more than the things that we get or even our legacy.  God is building up something very very great and incredibly special inside of us today. Lord, Jesus, have your own way.

If you'd like to accept Jesus into your life today, pray this simple prayer of God's love and grace today: Lord Jesus, I thank you for dying for all my sin; now Lord I invite you into my heart. I Don't Need to Earn ANYTHING else to Live a POWERFUL Life

I Don't Need to Earn ANYTHING else to Live a POWERFUL Life

I have decided to follow Jesus and live in Christ and in what He has done for me in my life.  I will not listen to or walk in the knowledge of what the enemy tries to tell me.   My guilt and my shame has been FULLY taken away FOREVER in Christ Jesus.  I will live in that. I will not live in shame or regret or guilt or condemnation.  Let it be known that there is now no condemnation in Christ Jesus; therefore, I will walk in Christ Jesus and in His grace and in all He has done for me on the cross and rising again from the dead.  I will live in a powerful way.  I will live a powerful life because of Jesus today.  He has won ALL of my victory so I will walk in that and will boldly say it.  Say it boldly, MY GUILT HAS BEEN ATONED FOR!  You will let nothing on earth in heaven or under the earth tell you you need to pay for your own guilt or you need to feel a certain way or try to earn that atonement in any way what so ever.  Trust God alone and rest in the fact that the atonement was made by Jesus Christ.    Live in that BOLDLY.

I don't want to write this just to feel good and especially not to look good.  This is a proclamation not only to the ENEMY but also to help others who have tried to earn their own atonement for the day or have been walking in guilt or shame or regret; now we walk in Jesus and just completely throw away everything that belonged to us with him because now that Jesus is here, we just confess and admit that everything that comes from us can only produce shame, misery, regret, remorse, sorrow and more misery, we don't need more of that in this world!  But the Bible says that Jesus "Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted." Isaiah 53:4 the gospel not of Jeremy, Joe or Frank but of Jesus.  It is Jesus who has a better story than us and, by the way, His story alone can heal.  Our story can heal only when we apply Jesus to it, so today I proclaim Jesus and how lost I am without Him. I walk in His grace and in the glory of all of his love for me.  So throw away all the same today and know that Jesus bore them all on his shoulders and know now today, Instead of shame and disgrace,  you will receive an inheritance from God (See Isaiah 61:7) all because of Jesus.  That way is the only way others can benefit from my life AT ALL.  I am nothing without Jesus.

The Spirit of God Lives in Me to proclaim FREEDOM!

The Spirit of God who raised Jesus from the dead lives in me!  Therefore the spirit of God that lives in me is stronger than any other spirit in this universe.  That is why I have healing in my bones! That is why someone can pass by me and receive healing because the Spirit of God is so strong in me.  Why? Not because of me. Not because of what I have done.   The spirit of the living God is on me to proclaim FREEDOM! Because of the cross of Jesus Christ.  Because Jesus Christ died to set me COMPLETELY free! Because Jesus rose again from the dead and now He proclaims freedom to all those held captive.  Jesus proclaims freedom.  Jesus lives in me!  And I have to tell the story! I have to tell somebody!

I say,

from Isaiah 61 New International Version (NIV)

The Year of the Lord’s Favor
61 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,
2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
3     and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
    instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
    instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
    a planting of the Lord
for the display of his splendor.
4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins
    and restore the places long devastated;
they will renew the ruined cities
that have been devastated for generations.
5 Strangers will shepherd your flocks;
foreigners will work your fields and vineyards.
6 And you will be called priests of the Lord,
you will be named ministers of our God.
You will feed on the wealth of nations,
and in their riches you will boast.
7 Instead of your shame
you will receive a double portion,
and instead of disgrace
you will rejoice in your inheritance.
And so you will inherit a double portion in your land,
and everlasting joy will be yours.
8 “For I, the Lord, love justice;
    I hate robbery and wrongdoing.
In my faithfulness I will reward my people
and make an everlasting covenant with them.
9 Their descendants will be known among the nations
and their offspring among the peoples.
All who see them will acknowledge
that they are a people the Lord has blessed.”
10 I delight greatly in the Lord;
my soul rejoices in my God.
For he has clothed me with garments of salvation
and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness,
as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest,
and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11 For as the soil makes the sprout come up
and a garden causes seeds to grow,
so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness
and praise spring up before all nations.

If you'd like to accept Jesus into your life today, pray this simple prayer of God's love and grace today: Lord Jesus, I thank you for dying for all my sin; now Lord I invite you into my heart. A Woman on Fire for the Lord!

In the Bible, when the men didn't harbor the heart of God in theirs, when they aren't doing their job or just simply too involved with themselves and their pride or the riches of this land to harbor the heart of God, God raises up strong women because women are not afraid to talk about God's heart and God's heart and plan for the families, His children whom He loves!

Men and leaders these days, I'm afraid, or too concerned about their own success to speak about the heart of God because it may be unpopular.  If you want to hear what God's heart is saying to the churches, since the men won't man up, listen to a woman on fire for the LORD, they won't be afraid to speak.   Listen, the disciples were down to follow Jesus (most of them) as long as it meant they would be successful, but when Jesus died they all scattered, but check this out!  When He resurrected! Jesus rose from the dead and the disciples all were all mia and unwilling to receive it at first, but the women!   The women saw and quickly told the men, He has risen!  Listen, so many men are pursuing excellence in their own name and pursuing success that they lost the heart of God and even when they preach God, they ain't foolin' anybody that they are doing it for their own success.  God these days are speaking so powerfully, and honestly in the heart of women because we are living in a culture that is serving other gods.  Listen to a couple of women of God to hear what God is saying to the people of God these days.

Listen to:  Joyce Meyer, Christine Cain, Beth Moore

These and some others are women on fire for the Lord, with nothing to lose and no success of their own to gain!

Let's all people the woman, the bride of Christ, that we were called to be!  Let's harbor the heart of God in ours today!  Praise God for His grace to still call out men of God to lead as the bride of Christ for his church.  Men, let's lay down our "careers" to lead the church today and love them as Christ loved the church today!

God promises He will guide your life. Pray and ask God to bring the right people into your life. God will guide you to the right church full of people who love His words in the Bible. Our God is so faithful. God bless you today.

I AM AN ORGANIZED HARD WORKING LEADER! :D

The best messages that preachers preach are the messages they need to in fact hear the most.  It might even be in the area they struggle with the most.  Let the lazy man preach hard work and walk it out in the grace of God! That was me!  I am so lazy and don't like doing work AT ALL. I also would enjoy being disorganized for the rest of my life!  And I never think that the word "leader" is related to me at all.  But God uses these people for some reason, and I'm not saying this in a self-focused way.  We are ALL in fact leaders, so we might as well say it.  We are all influencing someone whether we like it or not.  So I might as well get used to hard work and while I'm at it, start organizing (facing my battles and struggle in the grace of God with God's power) communicating to the people I need to communicate with to get the job done because for those who like hard work, they need to relax a little; let them preach depending on God like it all depends on Him..because it does!  But for those who like to be really lazy, let them NOT preach the message, "Wait for the Lord and do nothing in the process."  Let them preach the message: "work like it all depends on you!" Because in this case, God has already done all of the hard work. Now it's time for your butt to get up and start doing something too!  He saved you all by himself, now He wants you to start participating in the Kingdom.  He bought you with a price to go to, to restore relationships back to the father, that is what God is calling you out to do.  If you ever hear a preacher passionate about a subject, it can many times mean that they have fought the good fight and with God's help and with their bold confidence in Him overcome!  Ask Him: God what messages are you wanting me to preach today?

For me, I am feeling a fire inside to preach: hard work!  preach: confidence!  preach humility!  preach: my identity in Christ!  I am a child of the most high God!  preach: Encouragement (I have never been a discourager, but this is my gift) preach: being organized, having a plan and being a leader!

Lord help us to lead in these areas.  Help us to be willing and open in these areas you are helping us with the most!  Help us to encourage someone weaker in these areas.  Teach us to help others.  Teach us to help others who have been struggling in areas we have already completely overcome!

Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weak say, “I am a warrior.” Joel 3:10

Who Will Go?

Who will go out..  Who will be like Benedict Arnold, who was considered a traitor in the land he lived to later considered a hero.  Who will be like this man.  Are you willing to be a hero in my kingdom and considered a complete enemy to this world.  Are you willing to receive all your support from me and none from this world?  Are you willing to go out?  Are you willing to be directed by me?  Foxes have holes, birds of the air have nests, but the son of man has no place to lay his head.  Who will be willing to go?  Who will be willing to venture off.  Who will be willing to venture off of their path, away from their plans and schedules to serve me?  Who will be willing to completely leave their path of their own success to walk and run on my plan and purpose of success for my people, for the daughters of Israel?  Who will be willing to do this?  Who will be willing to do this completely?  Who will value my kingdom and never again value in this world?

"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!"

- Isaiah 6:8

To me, I had been tired of pleasing two women.  It gets tiring.  One loves you and the other will be there as long as you do what she tells you to.  She tries to tell you that you are nothing without her, that you would be lost without her.  She puts on makeup and dresses in luring attire so that you feel good when you walk around with her, but she doesn't love you.  You like the way you look with her because of the way people respond when they see you with her.  They look impressed.  They look envious.  They even look jealous.  You know if you lost this woman, the people would turn their face at you and laugh.  You know they would turn their faces down at you and not look the other way..maybe never look the other way at you.  Maybe you're not afraid that she would leave you, the woman there next to you, but you're afraid that they would leave you.  You're afraid that they would not turn to look at you ever again with that look you so love.  But she's an adulterous.  She's gone this way before.  She's had many men and has lured them down the same road many times.  She's a natural.  This is her specialty and she knows no other task.   She's been pregnant many times.  She has had many illegitimate children and still she wants more.  She doesn't want you to have children of your own.

This world has nothing for me.

O how would I like to simply serve one God.  But God has brought me here to serve in the location he has brought me.  Therefore, I must serve Him faithfully.  I mus'int leave my post here.  I am working for the LORD.  I am working as unto the LORD.  He has brought me here to serve Him and to restore relationships with men to God.  I serve God Most High where I am.  Just like Daniel who served faithfully and did not eat the kings meat, respectfully, and served the king but firstly served His God, the maker of heaven and earth, I will serve the LORD here.

God first.

"..we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.” Daniel 3:18

Stand firm and stand in Christ!  Stand for purity! Stand for patience, love, trust, faith, obedience, relentless dependence on God and His grace, Stand church! Stand!

God has said! Deuteronomy 20:1-4
"When you go out to battle against your enemies and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, who brought you up from the land of Egypt, is with you. "When you are approaching the battle, the priest shall come near and speak to the people. "He shall say to them, 'Hear, O Israel, you are approaching the battle against your enemies today. Do not be fainthearted. Do not be afraid, or panic, or tremble before them, for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.'

The word of the LORD!

So I will not settle! I will not settle! Say at least a hundred times to yourself, I WILL NOT SETTLE!

1 Corinthians 15:57
"but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!"

2 Corinthians 2:14
But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.
