Declare Fearlessly (Ephesians 6:19-20)

Paul said,

"Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should."  Ephesians 6:19-20

Lots of us might feel like we are held somewhere (waiting for that next thing to happen...).  But like us, Apostle Paul was in the same situation. He was in chains in a prison writing with those chains on his wrists.  He wrote and prayed this prayer:  He wrote, "Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should."  Louie Giglio shared a message about this and he's right...people are praying about what God's will is for them.  Louie is saying that this was Apostle Paul's No. 1 prayer that he might make known the mystery of the gospel whenever he speaks.  Meaning whenever I open my mouth.  So we wonder where we are supposed to go or what we are supposed to do, but we can bury this and that concern because if we are living then we can think about this: what if we prayed this and made it our number one prayer, that WHENEVER we open our mouths that we might fearlessly proclaim the mystery of the gospel, in chains, in the living room, in the restaurant, working in the office, in NASCAR, in the hospital, in business, wherever.  What if we prayed that we proclaimed the mystery of the gospel and made it known; that the gospel might be proclaimed.  I want to make this my prayer in Jesus' name today.  Will you pray with me?

Pray that I may use this situation to preach the gospel of Jesus.

If you'd like to accept Jesus into your life today, pray this simple prayer of God's love and grace today: Lord Jesus, I thank you for dying for all my sin; now Lord I invite you into my heart. Come and be my everything today and forever. Forgive my sin as I make You and you alone Lord in my life. Amen. Now read the book of God's love in the Bible: The book of John chapters 1-21. God promises He will guide your life. Pray and ask God to bring the right people into your life. God will guide you to the right church full of people who love His words in the Bible. Our God is so faithful. God bless you today.
