The righteous don't ask, "But how can I put God first." They simply decide to put God first in everything and through the Lord Jesus Christ. They face persecution as they ought to. They love God and stand firm in the Lord. They trust in the Lord with all of their hearts. They trust in the Lord and place their trust in Him. They obey and learn obedience as students of obedience to the Lord. They marvel at the Lord and long for Him in waiting. They worship the Lord and take His ways seriously. They are as solid as a rock because of Him in whom they trust. The "wicked" hate the righteous because they stand against all the wicked's schemes. The righteous can stand firm and for that the wicked hate them. "The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?" (Psalm 118:6) Again, "So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" (Hebrews 13:6) ..in God I trust and am not afraid. What can man do to me? (Psalm 56:11) God first before all things. Let us follow the example, "In the beginning, God.." Let everything we start with start with God by our choices and decisions every day of our lives. Amen
