You're right on schedule. You're right on Route

One day, I was running and had one more mile to go, and I just remember feeling relieved that I had routed out a way that made it so that I would be one mile out about exactly before arriving to my home.  It was good because I may not have had that kind of motivation to run another mile if I was closer to home.   Inside I heard God speak to my heart and tell me in the same way in your life, that "you are right on route."  I heard God say that I have you right on schedule to arrive at your destination right on time, and I made it so that it works out perfectly.

Are you feeling like things aren't working out the way you want it?  Be encouraged.  :)  I'm here to tell you that you are right on Schedule.  Like Jonah and that fish, God knows how to bring you right on schedule to accomplish all that he has for you to accomplish to and for His glory.  His promises on real.  His promises are true.  He is King of the Universe.   You're right on schedule.  :)

If you'd like to accept Jesus into your life today, pray this simple prayer of God's love and grace today: Lord Jesus, I thank you for dying for all my sin; now Lord I invite you into my heart. What to do when you feel like God has let you down?

On Sunday, Sept. 3rd, I realized after arriving in Chicago O'hare airport that the luggage I checked in prior to boarding was not going to arrive.  I was hurt because I had placed all of my good ties, good pants, and shoes, and even my favorite laptop in that luggage..and now it's gone!

Some may say, "Well, be happy cause you got your health!"  Now, I totally get the great and important fact that I still have my health, my family, and I made it back safe and sound, and I thank God for that, but the reality is I still feel like someone took something from me and I don't know what has happen to my things!  That feeling doesn't feel good.  And I have to be honest, I feel even though I am still alright and in good health, I feel like it wouldn't be too much work if God would have just completed the job by getting my luggage back to me safe and sound.. .I have to admit that I felt like God had kind of let me down.  So what do you do when you feel like God has let you down?   Look at His word.

Surely, God knows about losing things.   But He also knows about finding things.  See Luke 15:11-32.  There is the story of a lost man, called the prodigal son.  The father has sons, one of which was lost.  The son did not know where he was or what he was doing.  He had no business eating from a pig's eating troth or working for measly crumbs.   The son then came to His senses and went back home to his father.   When the father saw him, he ran to his dear son and kissed him and celebrated!  I know that God knows how it feels to lose things.  He lost many of his dear children.  His dear children are lost....And He is calling me to tell them about the truth no matter what the cost.

Here is the story, and here's what I'm feeling that God is telling me through it:

This is what I did.  For days and days, I am calling these workers from the airline to contact the airport in order to find my missing bag.  One of the things that hurt me the most is I fear these people I am contacting do not care like I do about my missing bag of luggage.  Have you ever felt like this? Ever felt some people just doesn't seem to care as much as you do?  I personally know that if I was there right now, in that pile of luggage I would not stop until I find my dear sweet luggage.  I would run all over that airport talking to whoever I needed to talk to to find it!   Now picture this!   You are calling these guys on the phone and yelling at them because they just don't seem to care!!!!!   You are telling them everything you can to get them to (a) care!  And (b) do everything in their power! Everything they can to please find your missing luggage!  See where I'm going?  That's EXACTLY how God feels.

I feel this message spoken to my heart from God:  God is calling you to tell the land about His missing children!  He's saying, "Tell them about me! Tell them about my love! Tell my missing child that I'm here, that I care, and I'm here with open arms!!"   And here you are, Jeremy, having fun, not caring enough, and going about your business and God's HEART IS BREAKING for His children.

Well, do you see the way you feel about your dear sweet missing luggage??  Do you feel the pain there?  How you miss all those things???  All your worry about  it???   THAT is exactly how I feel about my missing children!    Even more.  And now I'm asking you to be my hands and feet!   Isaiah 6:7-8, "With it he touched my mouth and said, "See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for."

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!"  Isaiah 6:8

You may ask, "Well, why doesn't God just go and do it himself?"  Simple, because he is asking you to do it.  Who's heart is shown more genuine: the one who is complaining about doing something for someone who loves them and is asking them for help, or the One who Himself is asking for partnership in a very worthy task?   God is asking for our partnership.  And it's not to keep something from us, but it's to bless us!   That is enough to shout Hallelujah because God doesn't need us, but he knows that we need him and we need to learn what we were called here to do, and what we were made for.

You see, this is what I learned:

God didn't let me down, it was me who let God down first.  God has been faithful the entire time, and what's more is He cares about my heart as much as He cares about the hearts of his dear lost children. You see, I totally dropped the ball.   I didn't share in my little story that I dropped the ball because I was invited to a conference overseas in country with people who I knew did not know the One true God, Jesus, and I stayed silent, only telling my small group that I lead worship at my church, but didn't tell people about my faith in Jesus Christ.  I dropped the ball, but not only is there God's forgiveness, but there is a chance to make it right.  I pray that God will open my mouth to preach the gospel again.  Amen.

Say this prayer with me:

Dear God,  I know I let you down, but I thank you for your forgiveness, and though there's no way I could go back and nothing I can do now about telling those people in the past, I pray for a better heart today, so that the people now that are so lost can be found in Jesus Christ.  I thank you that I can actually do something about that.   Open my mouth, LORD, to preach the good news.  It's in Jesus' name, amen.   I thank you that I have received the power that the Holy Spirit fell on me to be your witness in this city, in this state, in this country and to the world, in Jesus' mighty name, I pray.

Amen.

If you'd like to accept Jesus into your life today, pray this simple prayer of God's love and grace today: Lord Jesus, I thank you for dying for all my sin; now Lord I invite you into my heart. Come and be my everything today and forever. Forgive my sin as I make You and you alone Lord in my life. Amen. Now read the book of God's love in the Bible: The book of John chapters 1-21. The words "Christ Alone" Written on the door of my heart..

The words "Christ Alone" Written on the door frames of my heart..

I say out there to all the world:

When you see anything approaching my heart, read the sign on the door and the door frame of my heart! It says, "Christ Alone" written on it there.  When you see the sign and you're not about Christ; you're not about Jesus alone?  Please be on your way!   Keep walking.  No, thank you.   The sign here says, again, "Christ, alone, welcome!"

Lord, I pray your protection always, and I pray, God: Thank you so much, God, thank you so much for writing your name on the door and the frames of our hearts, protecting us from the evil one, and protecting us from all the trash, junk, and deceptions of the world today.  Protect us Lord today and always.  In Jesus' name. Amen.

Jeremy

"Mountain? ...What Mountain??" (Love Lifted Me)

Mountain?  ...What Mountain??  (Love Lifted Me)

"He lifted me.."  Psalm 40:2a

Just had a vision of people climbing the tallest corporate latters ever, and then I saw this one man who realizes his relationship with the Father and just lifted up his hands and the Father's arms reached down and picks him up and lifts him up higher than he could ever be lifted before.

I thought about this and realize that when my daughter asks me to lift her up, I am more than happy to lift her up and the experience for her is great, she is much higher, it's easier, and more delightful than any younger baby if s/he tried to climb up on his/her own for example.

What I learn from this is that we see people all the time climbing the "corporate latter" and I ask: What if we were never called to do that?  I think we may only be called to call upon the Name of the Lord so that He can lift you up!  The Bible says, "Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up." James 4:10.

What if we were never called to climb the mountain?  What if we were, however called and suggested to say to that mountain, "be removed and thrown in the sea" or to call on the name of the Lord, humble ourselves and ask God so that He will lift us up on eagles wings. Let's call on the name of the Lord and look to Him for our deliverance.  Hallelujah

Let's call on our Daddy today and take our eyes off mountains and keep our eyes on Jesus, who is the Rock that is higher than any mountain.

God wants us to live in the realm of the Impossible!

"All things are possible with God"  Matthew 9:26b

Ever wonder why somethings in life seem a challenge at times?/  Ever wanted to avoid those challenges.  Don't.  Not only don't, but I think God wants us to face them with faith.  Why?  I believe  God wants us to do the difficult thing because... Or let's put it this way:  God often has us not only do the thing we think is difficult but he says, be holy as my Father is holy! and He says this because he knows not only about the power of belief, but because he loves us and most of all, He wants to teach us to depend on our heavenly Father who lives in the realm of the impossible.

Are you challenged in a area that seems impossible?  Are you trying to avoid being in that place?  Does it seem too challenging?  I want to tell you:  Believe God. He wants you to go there and live in the area of the impossible, trusting, believing, and depending on Him alone.  Believe God, He wants to take you to be in the area of the impossible with Him.  Get excited, God is about to do some great and impossible things through your life today!  Start believing in miracles! In walls crashing down!  In the earth being shaken with Hope!   Hope, trust, and believe in the words of Jesus that "With God, all things are possible," today!

He wants to teach us to depend on our heavenly Father who lives in the realm of the impossible

Our boys and girls will be Kings and Queens in THIS Generation! : )

And I will make boys their princes, and infants shall rule over them. Isaiah 3:4

I spoke to a realtor today about seeing a 4 million dollar home (in Perrysburg). Purpose: I want to bring a group of underprivileged students and give them a chance to visualize for their future. Not that big houses are everything, but I want to send the message to struggling youth that YES, YOU ARE WORTH THIS AND MORE. The realtor was nice, but he couldn't do it. I'm still determined to give younger people a chance to visualize if they've never been in a 4 million dollar home to see it and say "Why not me??" Our boys will be kings in this generation and our little girls will be queens in THIS generation.  :)

God has done some crazy awesome stuff in my life

Sometimes, I look around and I thank God.  I see my cute daughter and adorable son, and I see the grace of God.  I look at my loving wife who wants to be like Christ and I thank God.  I see both families on Kayla's side and my side who love Jesus and I thank God.  So I see God has done some crazy awesome stuff in our lives.  He has given us friends who love God and love us too all around the world.

God has done so many things, and He is NOT done yet..   He is about to blow us away with His goodness and His grace not only in our lives but in the lives of other around us.   I see books released, and unbelievable career positions, new homes, and wonderful freshness and newness NOT ONLY in my life and my family's life, but in millions of people we are able to touch and heal and restore through the things we have been given, by the very great and undesired grace of  God.   I see people's lives transformed by miracles and wonders!  I see people's heads spinning with amazement with what God is going to do in their lives.

If you'd like to accept Jesus into your life today, pray this simple prayer of God's love and grace today: Lord Jesus, I thank you for dying for all my sin; now Lord I invite you into my heart. I'm giving you DOUBLE the Coffee : )

Monday, April 11th, 2017, I went inside a coffee place (Big B) yesterday.  I told the lady at the counter that I'm on a budget of two dollars..what do you have?   She gave me some options..Finally I said, "No, that's okay.  I'll just take a water."  She filled a water and I sat down.

By the end of the time I was with my friends, that same lady came up to us and said, "I'm taking out these coffees and would like to know if any of you want any coffee before I throw them away."  I said, "I'll take one, thanks!"  She came back with two LARGE containers of coffee for me.

I later thought, "Well, isn't that funny...I came in this coffee place with nothing, with only two dollars on hand, I ordered a small cup of water, and left with two LARGE cups of coffee."  I thought, "I had a budget of two dollars and left still with my two dollars and with over 10 dollars worth of coffee!  More than double!"  Then I heard God speak to me and say, "That's exactly right, Jeremy.  Mark my words, Jeremy:  That's exactly what I am going to do in your life, Jeremy!   I am about to bless you!  You are asking me for water, but I am giving you DOUBLE!   I'M going to give you DOUBLE what you think is coming!  I'm going to give you DOUBLE of more blessing than you could ever ask for.

I remembered that the coffees were so big than I needed help to carry them.   God is saying the same, that He is going to over flow our baskets.  I cried out of the goodness of God.

Instead of your shame you will have a double portion, And instead of humiliation they will shout for joy over their portion Therefore they will possess a double portion in their land, Everlasting joy will be theirs.
 Isaiah 61:7

How God's Grace works victory into our lives.

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--...so no man can boast."  Ephesians 2:9, 10.

Today I had an epiphany.    We need grace in something, what ever it is.  Whatever it is we aspire to do or accomplish, we need grace in it.  I'm not talking about salvation here. That's a given.  I'm talking about our everyday lives.  We know there's grace when you don't feel completely ready for the whole thing.  If you feel like you are completely ready because you've gained all of the knowledge and all of the experience, you may get the satisfaction that you did this on your own, but you'll feel empty, and that emptiness is there because there was no room left for God's grace.

You see, there is no need for God or his grace in the picture when it has all been done by you.  And that is where most people tumble, because they've made themselves so perfect on their own and so confident in themselves, and made God whatever they wanted Him to be in their lives that there is no room left for the God of grace, and often God has taken his hand off, because 1. there is no room left for His glory because no glory would be or could be contributed to him in that case.  Also 2. If someone asked you how you did it, notice that there is no place God could fit in the story, thus he or sh's left no room for his grace, which is where God shines in the story and 3. people are attracted to grace and in turn, no grace is people repelent, i e. people can not stand to be around places or people that don't make room for Grace.   4.  God blesses those who work hard, but leave some room for the grace of God.

I find that all people love Grace.  Probably because we all need it, but pride gets in the way (I'll talk about that later!)  That's why people loved Jesus.  That is why people will recognize and love to be near us as well, when we practice the love of God, to lay down our lives for our brothers and show others God's grace.   We need God's grace.   God will not elevate or promote you if you depend on yourself, your own knowledge, your own experience to the point that you complete a task and leave no room for God in the story.  If you feel you are not completely ready for a task GO and DO IT! Do it because that is a sign of how you know that God can get the glory out of it.  Of course, I'm not saying to do NOTHING on your part!  I'm saying don't get lost in analysis paralysis.  Don't wait that way!  That kind of "waiting" is 100% your pride telling you you have to wait until everything is all perfect in your own eyes and understanding because you know that (a) you will not look like a fool and, secretly, (b) you don't want to share a grace testimony because it's too scary and you would rather get all the glory and tell everyone the story of how "you knew this all along."  No. No. No! That may be comfortable, but God can not grace complete peace and really elevate you to accomplish more for His glory if you do it that way!

This is why going and needing God's grace will lift you up high.   Ever wondered why you've seen so many people who are so talented and so good looking and God was not using them; for some reason they never made it or wasn't successful..well..that is exactly why!  Because they're perfect! There's no room for an amazing story! Who wants to hear a story about how you were always right!?  We all love to hear the story about that one thing we all need!  But no one wants to hear your story because there's no room for His grace in it.  This is also why some are successful but miserable.

It's a beautiful thing to learn this phenomenon, but not if you are the one who's trying so hard to be perfect and not willing to let grace take over in areas of your life.  And you suffer and suffer and it's all because you refuse to release and let God take control of some of it (or how about ALL of it?!?).  I realize that if you ever wonder why in some areas of your life you aren't experiencing the victory that God wants to bring to you, it's usually in the same areas in which we are not willing to relinquish and give our complete control and hand it all the way over to God.

There is a big difference between faith in me and faith in God.   I can have great faith, but it could be only great faith in me.   Great faith in me, brings glory only to me, which is guaranteed to be destroyed over time or even instantaneously.  Faith in God does a lot of things.  Faith in God does not only save you but it can save many many others and bless many many others as well.  But it takes us depending on the grace of God to take the leap and step forward.  There is a big difference between faith in me and faith in God.  It's up to us to learn the difference. The difference is in grace.   Let's pray that we surrender those areas in our lives that we are trying so hard to get perfect and surrender them over to God today.

God bless your day today.

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.  1 Corinthians 15:10

One extra note:

We often get so frustrated over the effects of things and never ever think about the causes, the very things that control the thing.   Check this out.

Imagine someone in the shower getting upset because the mist from the warm shower that he has on if fogging up the mirror that he's trying to look into.  Imagine him getting angry at the mist, frantically trying to wipe away the fog from the mirror only to find it reappear again.  We do thing so many times with our own lives.  We run out of funds or relationships don't work out and we get angry at the money or at the person.  But what if the guy went over and turned the hot water down.  He'd look at the mirror, which seems to not be related to the shower on the other side of the room, but he has understood some laws that if he adjust, the mist from the mirror would subside.  Patience here is important too.  Notice that if he turns the heat down and the cold higher, the fog doesn't subside immediately, but it is subsiding and after a few seconds it seems to multiple in speed and before you know it the mirror is completely clear and you didn't even have to touch the mirror!  It's the same with all the areas of our lives.  There are laws and principles that if we obey them we will find almost easy and effortless changes in our lives.  Believe me.  And so it works with the law of grace.  Trust in God and His grace to lift you up when you don't feel like you've done it all correctly.  Trust in His grace and He can lift  you up higher and give you His peace.  He can do more through you with His grace than you ever dreamed possible.

If you'd like to accept Jesus into your life today, pray this simple prayer of God's love and grace today: Lord Jesus, I thank you for dying for all my sin; now Lord I invite you into my heart. Find Out Who The Story is REALLY About...AND ITS NOT YOU

Read: 2 Samuel 15 through 18.

We need to learn from the story about Absalom.  Absalom worked to promote himself, but he did not realize that the story isn't about him.  The story is about his dad, David. So he would do better to honor his father instead of seeking to promote himself.

In the same way, we need to know who the story is about in our lives, and be humble enough to admit it and stop trying to make it all about us!

We need to realize who this story is about and be smart enough to make it all about that person!  Who knows!  There may be a reward in it for the one who honors the one who this is all about anyway!  The employee will do well to make sure that the boss or the president is being honored!

In my story, I realize that it is not about me, but it is all about Jesus!  Now, I need to learn how I can honor Him over myself.  I need to stop, look around, and listen to the Good Shepherd. I need to ask the Shepherd and hear what he is saying to me and be willing to listen.  The story's not really about me.  It's about Him.  It's about Jesus.

We need to know who the story is about in our lives, and be humble enough to admit it and stop trying to make it all about us!

God, I honor you today.  I lift up your name.  Father, I know that my life was made for your glory.  Teach me to give glory to You daily.  In Jesus' name I pray.  Amen.

If you'd like to accept Jesus into your life today, pray this simple prayer of God's love and grace today: Lord Jesus, I thank you for dying for all my sin; now Lord I invite you into my heart.
