Looking Back at God's Work : )

Just a couple of days ago, I was driving by a neighborhood I used to live in.  In this neighborhood, garbage day was once a week and we lived in a duplex, on the upper floor.   The lower floor would often not remember to take out their trash or return their trash container back to the garage from the front of the house.  I remember simply returning the trash container back and taking it out in the front without telling them about it.  I did this many times during the two years we lived there.

Fast forward to where we are today.  We live in a nicer neighborhood (to the glory of God --Thank you Lord!).  In this neighborhood, the trash persons do not require you to take your trash out but they go to your garage and you can leave your trash in front of the garage and they will pick it up!  Wow!  But not only that, but look at God here:  We have two wonderful international students who live with us.  We all decided to split the chores in our house.  I usually pick up in the family, play, living, and dining rooms.  Kayla does so many amazing things around the house, and the international students clean their rooms, their bathrooms, and they take out the garbage.   I just feel so blessed because I remember when I took out the garbage for my neighbors, and now look at God! Not only, do I need to take the garbage out to the front of the house, but I don't even need to touch the garbage at all!  I call that the grace and goodness of God who remembers and now I am seeing how God remembered me!  Praise the Lord!!

I want to encourage you to simply love your neighbors, and trust that God will later take GOOD care of you!

"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
Luke 6:38

If you'd like to accept Jesus into your life today, pray this simple prayer of God's love and grace today: Lord Jesus, I thank you for dying for all my sin; now Lord I invite you into my heart. Come and be my everything today and forever. Forgive my sin as I make You and you alone Lord in my life. Amen. Now read the book of God's love in the Bible: The book of John chapters 1-21. God promises He will guide your life. Pray and ask God to bring the right people into your life. God will guide you to the right church full of people who love His words in the Bible. Our God is so faithful. God bless you today.
